En af mine klare favoritter i Danish Design Award 2012 var Daniel Kowal & Carl Emil Jacobsen og deres afgangsprojekt, ’Essential’. De vandt desværre ikke talent prisen, men de vandt hos mig!

‘Essential’ er en serie af køkkenredskaber, som undersøger, hvordan enkle lokale materialer og forskellige håndværksteknikker kan være med til at understøtte madlavning og måltidet.

Jeg er sikker på vi kommer til at se meget mere til de to seje gutter, og mon ikke også ’Essential’ snart kan findes i butikkerne?

One of my top favourites for the Danish Design Award 2012 was Daniel Kowal & Carl Emil Jacobsen and their final project, ‘Essential’. They didn’t win the talent award, but they won in my book!

‘Essential’ is a series of kitchen utensils, which examines how simple local materials and various craft techniques, can help and support with the cooking and the meal.

I am sure we will see much more of the two cool guys, and I also think that ‘Essential’ will be available in stores soon!
