Gourmet Countdown For Christmas Eve

Just one month until Christmas Eve. Starting to get excited? I love the holidays; I love the mood, the coming together, the food and the presents. I love giving presents and I of course I love receiving them too. Getting in the right Christmas mood is not easy as I sitting in LA where the heat is almost unbearable hitting above 30 today. Not complaining, as I’ll rather sit here in the sun than in a dark room with rain hitting the windows in Copenhagen.

Its kind of funny. It pretty much the same record playing every year, if we start seeing Christmas stuff in store too soon, we complain, if its too late its also wrong. I vote for better sooner than later. Instead of starting too late with all the planning and hunting for gifts for your loved ones, start early and have fun with it.

Today I am kicking of Christmas here on the blog – and rightfully so. Again, only one month until the big day. As a kid I loved opening the small presents every day starting December 1st. The countdown for Christmas Eve. I loved the small presents my mother had found. Even the smallest things made joy. Here is my tip for the grownup version, the version you’ll give to someone who appreciate good quality gourmet in the kitchen. Copenhagen Food has once again created an incredible advent calendar with great inspiration to make your very own full of gourmet goodies.

Take inspiration, even if you don’t get the whole calendar, you might even find this years Christmas present for you dad, friend, boyfriend or girlfriend. Anyone with a good taste for quality gourmet will love any present from this calendar. A lot of favorites on the list actually, who wouldn’t want a bottle of Scotland’s finest Talisker whisky, new pots from Le Creuset, a gift card for sharpening of ones knives, or my favorite on the list, a bottle of the dark golden rum Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva.

Check out the entire list (in Danish) of products and where to buy, here! Let the Christmas preparations begin.

Paid partnership with Copenhagen Food. Thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for supporting collaborations that I am excited about and that have kept Bungalow5’s doors open.
