Keeping Out Sneaky Eyes In My Bedroom

You want to be able to let in as much of that spring sun flare while still keeping out nosy eyes from your neighbors in your bedroom. I like to wake up with the sunrise, so I have chosen a white blind that lets in the light when its down, but still makes it impossible to look in.

The blinds run on battery, which means I can control them via an app. I can pre-program different heights for the blinds to roll up or down too throughout the day, which means I don’t have to do anything, as it just finds the correct height on its own. Say you want it to open slightly at sunrise, go up even more mid day and all the way up every time you have your window cleaner scheduled – well, you just pre-program and the blinds will do its job. Added bonus, when traveling it will look like there is someone home all the time, because there is movement.

I chose a version called Twist by Luxaflex instead of a solid version, as I like the great lights the sun makes throughout the day. They are super flexible, which I think is very important, there is really not just two options, open or closed, which you would have with say a set of curtains.

All I need now is the right art pieces for my walls, and I think I am there… at least for now!
