Three intense days in Milan is done and I got home with lots of impressions and a bag full of business cards and catalogues. I had a plan prior to going for what I want to see, however, I didn’t manage half of it. Today you will get a collection of photos from what I did see in Milan.
The Chiostro Minore di San Simpliciano provided probably the most photogenic backdrop of the week, the Mindcraft exhibition of Danish design curated by GamFratesi.
One of my favorite design studios, Dimore Studio, never fails to disappoint with there eye and use of colors and fabrics.
Thursday nigth Paola Navone invited us to a private pizza party within her own private home. What a talented woman!
When in Milan, you have to capture the city’s key landmarks, I found the Duomo di Milano from inside Museo del Novecento.
The Unexpected Welcome showroom by the Dutch brand Moooi – founded by Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers – was located within a vast warehouse in the city’s Tortona district. The new Moooi collection looked great with Rahi Rezvani’s dramatic photography as the backdrop.
Last day and I found time for a quick lunch with wonderful people in the 10 Corso Como restaurant. A sight for green plant lovers!
