    På besøg: Sommerhus ved Vesterhavet

Posted by: Tine    Tags:      Posted date:  June 24, 2011  |  4 Comments

Håber I havde en god Sct. Hans aften i går?

    Visiting: By the West Coast

Right now most children in Denmark are celebrating their last day of school before the summer vacation, and I thought it might be appropriate with a visit to a house created for holidays. Found this amazing house in the middle of raw nature by the Danish West Coast in Jutland. I love the concrete tiles, which are used as flooring throughout the house, and I can only dream of such a “natural garden” with no work to do!

        Hi Frencesco,

That one is an easy one for me (it is also my husbonds greatest wish for our home). It’s called “Tremmesofa” (the danish word is referring to the bars at the sides and in the back) and it is designed by the Dane Børge Mogensen. He is very famous in Denmark, but outside Denmark not as much as his collegue and friend Hans J. Wegner. “Tremmesofa” is one of his most wellknowned pieces and today is is produced by Fredericia Furniture: http://www.fredericia.com/show.asp?lang=uk&s=furniture&mk=1&mt=3&mid=36
