Spring Cure 2015: Weekend Work, Kitchen

Did you work in the kitchen this weekend? Or did you prefer to enjoy the sun outside?

Once again I had to realize that my judgment on how long time delcluttering and cleaning takes is lousy. I have spent quite a few more hours in the kitchen than I actually had planned. And although I thought that it would mainly be about cleaning, I was wrong. Much stuff was removed, and with fewer layers in the cupboards, I now have a strong belief that the many hours was actually well spend, and that they have led to a much more functional kitchen.

Best tip in the kitchen: Use baskets or boxes for storage in drawers and cupboards. They act as room dividers and give a much better overview.

Change in the kitchen: I chose a small but effective change and finally replaced my ugly disposable dishcloths with some fine grey knitted versions made of organic cotton. They are purchased from Wabi Sabi.

The sun was shining strong, and it was quite challenging to get some pictures, but here are some in a little grainy Iphone quality.

Tusind tak for inspirationen.
