With half the world in home isolation and with many having to work from home, creating a home office where we can spend hours on end is also important.
I am hitting just 7 years of working from home full time and living in multiple apartment throughout I have tried many different solutions from turning the dining table into a desk to having a room for a proper room – and everything in between. I have found that having a proper place for work, which includes a desk, a very comfy chair and good lighting works best. In theory working from the bed or the couch is a good idea, but you’l quickly will lose your concentration.
Obviously, you don’t need to have an entire room setup for your office, especially if working from home is the norm during normal conditions, but make sure you have dedicated space for work. A space you can setup as close to your normal office environment as possible, a place where you can crank on with emails and take calls for many hours.
Here is 10 great examples that hopefully will make your home productivity go through the roof.
