6 Reasons Why You Want To Visit Palm Springs

If you visit Los Angeles, you might want to consider a little holiday within your holiday to Palm Springs. During the summer months it gets very hot, like extreme, so bare that in mind, when you book your hotel or house – you need a pool to cool down in during those peek sun hours.

Palm Springs is fun and very colourful, so if you are into Instagram and want to catch that perfect frame, here are 6 of my favourite most photogenic desert oasis moments.

01. Norma’s at the Parker Hotel

The eclectric interior at Norma’s done by Jonathan Adler sets the perfect mood for a beautiful lunch with friends.

02. Endless Pools (with floating swans)

Instagramming an inflatable pool toy is basically a requirement when visiting Palm Springs.

03. That Pink Door

Search #thatpinkdoor and you’ll begin to understand. This pink door is possibly the most shared door in Palm Springs, and it’s easy to see why.

04. Entrance of The Parker Palm Springs

The main entrance of The Parker Palm Springs is usually photographed to include the orange door that completes the facade, but we don’t mind this angle, either!

05. Rainbows at the Saguara

You just can’t beat the painted exterior of The Saguara Palm Springs

06. Drinks at Workshop

If you want proper drinks and cool interior, Workshop is pretty much the only place to go in town.

I loved the mineral water pools. Despite the heat, my recent weekend trip to Palm Springs was fun, especially the aerial tramway and hiking at the top of the mountain which is about 20 degrees cooler than below. // ▲ ▲
