A Beautiful Home in 50 Shades of Gray

Happy Monday guys! Ready to start a new week full on, the weather certainly makes the mood 100% better and I am determined to get everything that’s been piling up on my to-do list lately done… or at least a good portion of it. But for now, I am going to make myself a cup of coffee, lean back and take some gulit-free time to admire the beautiful home of Lovisa Häger in Stockholm. I have been admiring Lovisa’s home through her Instagram for a while – and now it is actually up for sale. Lovisa is a very talented interior designer and blogger, so of course her style and décor is on point.

I have liked the view through the doors into the living room many times on Lovisa’s feed, the light, the high ceilings, the color tones and that Serge Mouille lamp are just all great. Throughout Lovisa’s home there is lots naturals and dark gray accent. A style that really works when done just right – like it is here. I really love the impact of painting the moldings a dark gray and the walls a brighter tone, very impactful.

Also check out Lovisa’s very clever way to hide the heaters underneath the windows. A perfect coverup made of rattan. While the pictures might tell a different story, the apartment is on the smaller side, only 57 sqm (614 sq ft), but Lovisa have made some great decisions to make it seem bigger, like keeping the dining area to a bare minimum (how often do you have guests over for dinner anyway?) and the custom made clothing rack.

If you want more and are curios to see whats next for Lovisa, you should hop over to Lovisa’s ‘An Interior Affair’ Instagram and blog – apparently, she is quite the DIY expert (the two fluffy gray chairs in the living room are both DIY projects, just saying).
