If you are also all in on architectural 1960s these days, you are going to love today’s post. Since 2017, one of Denmark’s best-known male fashionistas Kim Grenaa, have work on renovating the yellow stoned house drawn by Holger Tangaa in 1963 – and it is actually ready for a new owner.
Throughout the house Kim has modernized in a modern and minimalistic style with respect for the 60s spirit of the house. Classic elements like the herringbone wooden floors and the original fireplace gives the very modern and Nordic style edge. While the house is kept very neutral, I love the color twist in the kitchen, Nicolaj Bo design, where the dark blue fronts and the terrazzo tile flooring is a great surprise.
Very nice, right?
I could easily see myself incorporate more of a modernized Mad Men style. And who wouldn’t want to have that home gym setup at home too? The sit-up thing is everything. Clearly it works wonders.
