I’ve always dreamt of living in a loft, you know one of those with tall windows, concrete elements and exposed brick walls. Guillaume and Sarah, or as I know them on Instagram @concrete.ceiling moved into one just like that one year ago, and all though they still have a 20-year-old kitchen and bathroom to remodel, their loft is so cool.
Guillaume is French and Sarah was born in Morocco, they both lived in Paris, where they met 5 years ago, but needed change of scenery and moved to London about 2 years ago. They fell in love with the mixed/artsy/boho vibe of East London – and I don’t blame they. On their weekend walks along the canals, they came across a particular warehouse building, which they fell in love with. After a bit of wait, a flat came on the market – and they got it.
The tall windows, overlooking the canals, showers the entire flat in the most amazing sunlight. With simple measures and great pieces of furniture the couple have really made the most of this space.
