American Ceramicist

My trip to New York and Los Angeles is coming to an end, once again, it has been great to see great friends and get some vitamin d. Its time to go back to cold Copenhagen and work – I am actually pretty excited, as I have some cool projects coming up.

Well, enough about me for a second. I wanted to share with you three cool ceramicist I came across on my trip, who I really think you should check out if you are looking for something unique for your home décor.

01. Michele Quan, Brooklyn

Her designs and sculpts handmade ceramic art & objects for the home and garden. Ceramic forms are built by hand, wheel thrown, or slip cast in stoneware and porcelain. I adore the stoneware Eye.

02. Kat and Roger, Los Angeles

Is a labor of love, combining classic shapes and graphic surface patterns with earthy natural clay textures. The work is all hand-thrown and hand-painted in our studio in LA.

03. Humble Ceramics, Los Angeles

Artisan pottery made with mindfulness in Los Angeles. I especially love the ceramic bowl and cup they have done in collaboration with Art for Tea.
