For a year now, I have been sleeping like a little princess or should I rather say king? Anyway, there is nothing better than to go to sleep and wake up in what is probably the best bed I have ever owned. I am talking about my Auping of course.
I really love what Auping is about, you might remember my chat with the Danish CEO before Christmas, about how they are turning the entire company into a 100% sustainable company with 100% reusable beds, which will in the future have zero impact on the future. If possible, just that, makes me sleep even better.
There was a time where sustainability just meant building something out of reclaimed wood; nothing really good ever came out of that. The story now is very different. I think that most of the Auping beds are nice and clean, and not just your average boring box mattress.
One of the very cool things about the Auping beds is that you can pretty much custom make it into any thinkable need you might have. I have the Essential frame with a 3 motor mesh base, perfect for days, when all I want to do is to stay in bed all day, but still having to work. Also check out the Criade box spring model, you can choose between more than 130 colours for the actual madras, 5 colours for the frame and an endless number of extra gear for iPhones, Ipads, side tables and so on.
My advice, if there is one thing you should never save money on, it’s your bed. You spend way more time in your bed, than in any other piece of furniture in your house, unless you are a couch potato of course, so why do so many people go for the cheapest version? No human is the same and everyone has personal preferences. This should be taken into account with a good bed, so that you can enjoy an optimal night’s rest and be ready for an energetic day.
