Being Challenged to New Art Pieces

I finally got around to hang some new pieces of art, I’ve honestly had a bunch standing on the floor in my hallway since I moved in – that’s 1,5 years ago. Picking the right artwork for your walls is definitely not an easy task, I am really not an art connoisseur, but I like to challenge myself and not just buy what everyone else gets. There is absolutely nothing wrong with finding affordable art posters, but there is definitely also something great about investing in a real art piece.

The owner of Beauton Art Gallery wanted to challenge me with new art pieces, so I accepted and offered my walls in return. He showed up with this trunk full of great pieces and I picked out the ones I instantly felt an attraction towards.

I am really drawn to the young Danish artist Adele Marie Rannes, who painted the portrait I hung in my kitchen, weirdly enough its called Christmas Eve. I also added two smaller very affordable art print pieces to my living room, one by Halfdan Pisket Badeanstalt Helgoland and Coffee Mugs by Patrick Ringsborg.

I know right, I think it is time to upgrade the posters a little bit.
