01. Gubi, Copenhagen, Denmark

In the early 00’s one of the favourite designstores in Copenhagen was in fact Gubi. They were very early with an online webshop, which people werent ready for at the time. Now 14 years later, they are back. In December they opened the an amazing new concept store.

02. First or Second, Alkmaar, Holland

Some of our favourite blogs, April and May, opened their own store a bit outside Amsterdam in September. Also within the store is a beautiful cafe designed by Norm Architects.

03. Shinola, London, UK

Probably best known with our American readers. Detroit based watch company launched their very first shop in Europe in London this year. They produce a broad range of other stuff outside of timepieces, like Americans footballs, bikes, notebooks and bags.

04. The Shop of the New, Hellerup, Denmark

An unmistakable world of nordic-ness, ideas and excitement.  The shop is a showcase for diverse and eccentric objects complementing the furniture collection from Københavns Møbelsnedkeri (Copenhagen Joinery) with a selection of graphic art prints, kitchenware, skateboards, paper cuts and much more.

05. Local Store, Berlin, Germany

We found this great new store via Instagram. They opened in October with a clear concept: They only sells products that have been produced in the country of the brand’s origin.
