Bringing A Piece Of Denmark to LA Piece By Piece

Going back and forth to LA for the past 1,5 years I am slowly starting to build a life here too. Every time I come here I have room in my suitcase for a few pieces that stays, in general Danish design, so it feels like I have a bit of my own world here too. Even though it is not as hot as I could have hoped for right now, I see the sun every day, which elevates my mood and keeps the annual winter depression in check.

Though it is really easy to fall into the eating out every day routine here, I am trying to make at least 4 home cooks meals a week and for that you need the right tools. Something that there is not a lot of in my current LA kitchen. It is rarely used when I am not here. One thing that was driving me insane was the lack of proper cutting boards, so I packed 4 of my favorites from Skagerak. Heavy duty, beautiful wooden ones, just the way cutting board are intended if you ask me.
