Bungalow5 x Sofacompany Sofa part III

Today I can finally reveal the bungalow sofa. Believe me, it was very surreal to have your own design delivered and installed in your living room. Actually, I am writing this post sitting in it.

I know it’s been a lot about the couch this past week, but its only because I am extremely proud and happy with the result, so I hope you’ll bear with me. In my last instalment of my Sofacompany Sofa Series I told you about the process, today it is finally live to purchase via Sofacompany in 10 countries across the globe.

But let’s get to it… I paid a lot attention to details with the high-quality leather pipping details, the legs and the two back pillow system. In a world of couches, it is not easy designing something new and interesting, but I think I accomplished pretty well. This couch is very me! I designed it for me and my needs, but I am pretty sure many of you can relate as well. I wanted something that would fit in a smaller space, but still be big enough to seat multiple people, and even fit a person to sleep over. It is not meant to replace a bed, but perfect for a few nights or a long nap. I also chose the herringbone textured fabric, the quality is btw almost impossible to wear down, makes it more masculine I guess, but without being too literal. I like its tight and slender form and the pipping really helps on the eye. It looks a lot smaller than it actually is.

Needless to say, I love it. Yesterday I invited the Danish press and bloggers to my home for a little showcase – and it seemed like they all loved it! So, I hope you guys do too.

The Bungalow Sofa is now available as seen here, but very soon it will also be available to customize in many other fabrics and probably also with a tan leather pipping to fit your needs. Make the jump and I am sure you’ll also be surprised to see what it retails from.

Paid partnership with sofacompany. Thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for supporting collaborations that I am excited about and that have kept Bungalow5’s doors open.
