So how is your first day of 2016? Did you have a great New Years Eve? How are those resolutions coming along? Today I just want to look back at 2015, I have selected my favourite moments from the year that just ended.
January: Bungalow5 hit its first bigger milestone, by turning 5 years. I threw a smaller gathering for friends, family and all the great people I meet week after week doing what I love.
February: I signed the contract for my new apartment. I cannot even describe how amazing this apartment has been. I enjoy every day, working and laughing.
March: I created Feast Copenhagen together with my roommate and foodie extrodinare Mira Arkin. We invited the first 13 people in for a Feast around the Normann Copenhagen table fully set with Georg Jensen.
April: Was a busy month, first Cape Town and then straight on to Milan, for the yearly iSaloni design fair. Best moments were definitely pizza party at the wonderful home of Paola Navone and my interview with Tom Dixon.
May: Flying again. I spent a whole three weeks in Los Angeles at the home of Made With Map founders; Puno and Daniel, while they stayed in mine in Copenhagen. Thank you Behomm for setting us up!
June: Highlight of June was definitely a dinner at Stedsans, a small restaurant on the top of an old building in Copenhagen. The entire roof has been transformed into an urban garden, where we dined inside the huge greenhouse.
September: I went up the coast to visit Louisiana to see the very cool and colourful Yayoi Kasuma exhibition.
December: Christmas of course, but most of my December has been in the sun in Cape Town.
