Christmas 2015: 24 things Santa should bring me #10

Every day until Christmas Eve (Dec. 24th), I will share one thing each day that I would love to see Santa bring me for Christmas. I am sure there are one or two things that you want too. Happy December 10th.

I think I have said it once or twice before, but my ultimate dream chair is Ray and Charles Eames lounge chair originally produced by Herman Miller, it is a hallmark of the Mid-Century Modern movement. As I do love the original colour the most, I have to say that the example New York’s 3sixteen has done, it pretty rad. They paired natural vegetable-tanned leather with Herman Miller’s iconic hand-oiled santos palisander wood veneer shell… Just oh so handsome.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, this is a one-off piece that 3sixteen will keep to document the patination process.

I loved this chair when I had it in my home. The only problem was that every time I sat down to read a book… I fell asleep. It is crazy comfortable. I love but cannot say the same thing about my PK 22’s I have now. Maybe I should consider the Eames again.

The comfort is very different. PK22 is a beautiful chair too, but not as compfy as Eames.
