I like to keep my Christmas dinners easy and simple. The same goes for the table setting.
I got a fairly cheap piece of very thin fabric and used that as the tablecloth for a more cosy feeling. For the perfect Christmas setting (that goes for any setting really) I used think fabric napkins and added a little twig to make it a bit Christmassy.
As I wanted a table where everyone could see each other, I decided on no centrepiece or flowers on the table. So instead, I hung them from the celling, between my lamps, and to add to the Christmassy feeling, I also hung a string of Christmas lights.
The flowers and Christmas lights do take a bit of time to get right, however, it will be the talk of town and add a real wow-effect to your Christmas dinner.
