For the past two weeks my apartment have been fully decorated in Christmas decorations. I even have a Christmas tree in the living room – it was actually pretty fun to see people looking at me as I walked down the street at the end of October with a full size spruce under my arm.
So why did I decorate so early. Well, not because I just love Christmas, but because I was asked by Danish Rosendahl to interpret their Karen Blixen collection. Together with two other bloggers; Boligcious and That Nordic Feeling, I have styled three different settings: one Christmas decoration, a Christmas tree and a Christmas table.
Today you can see the first setting, the Christmas decoration. As I am not the candle stuck in a pile of clay and pine kind of guy, I did a bigger decoration in my window still. I used ornaments, put them on a string and hung them in the window – a super easy way to use your ornaments. Adding small wrap presents also gives a bit extra I think.
If you want, you can now vote for the best Christmas decoration and win a Karen Blixen Christmas decorations worth 1.000 DKK. You have until Friday; the winner will be found between the votes of the most voted for Christmas decoration.
