Designing the Bungalow5 Shoe with Stig Percy Part II

Time flies, doesn’t it. It’s definitely hard for me to believe that my sneakers are now available to preorder, snag yourself a pair via Stig Percy. I hope you agree, that this collab certainly is a perfect fit. As I shared in my part I of this series, designing a shoe has been a dream of mine for a very long time. The idea behind my shoe is actually a pretty simple one: premium, high-quality and most importantly, extremely comfortable. I also wanted to create a grown-up sneaker for the grown-up man/woman, one that can be worn day in, day out at every occasion.

Sure, so-called “ugly” sneakers might be having a moment, but they’re not exactly what you’d call versatile. For everyday use, you need something less show-stopping and more, well, simple. That’s where the Bungalow5 sneakers come in. Clean-lined and classic, they’re the kind of kicks you can wear almost anywhere, even the office. Speaking of which, we’ve also made them in two different premium Italian full grain vegetable tanned leather and recyclable rubber soles for optimal comfort – which, as you can see, works amazingly well with both jeans, chino, or a suit.

I want to take you through the actual production process, but as Christmas is rapidly moving closer, I wanted to let you know the news about the possible pre-order. You know, so you could add it to your wish list or gift it to someone you like.

The images below offer a loose guide on how to wear the collection – it’s up to you to style it with pieces that work best for you, and I would love to see your suggestions, so feel free to tag us on Instagram @bungalow5dk and @stigpercy – we will be happy to share you outfits with the world.

In my next chapter of this series I will take you through the actual production. I went to Portugal, where everything is handmade by amazing people. Stay tuned!
