Vi holder faktisk aldrig juleaften her, men hos mine forældre.

Her er resultatet:

DIY: An alternative tree

Last Friday, I promised to show you  one of my own small projects as soon as I had the possibility to take a few pictures.

We have never actually has a Christmas tree in our home. We never celebrates Christmas Eve here, but at my parents. We’ve only been at our place at a single occation: When I was pregnant with my daughter, expected to give birth the 23rd of December!

That’s the reason I think, it’s a little waste to pull a tree inside. Should we really enjoy it, we would have to take it inside long before Christmas Eve and all the needles would fall off, and in fact I am (though I really don’t want to admit it) a little allergic to fir…

Well, I  do try to find some alternatives. Last year I found a nice branch , as I put in a jar and decorated with ornaments. This year I pulled out the branch, who has lived in the basement over the year. It had become a bit boring to look at, so I gave it some white spray paint and decorated it simply with white ceramic stars from Lars Rank.

Here are the result.
