The Electrolux Design Lab began in 2003 as an annual competition for all students of industrial design to develop future household appliance ideas. This year Electrolux Design Lab asked the students to design concepts that gave a sensory experience and as usual, that was exactly what they got.

Narrowed down from 1,200 entries, the jury has now chosen the top ten finalists. The coolest thing is that we, as in Denmark, for the first time ever is represented in the final in the prestigious design competition. Christopher Holm-Hansen is with the concept ‘Tastee’ – an intelligent spoon, which taste your food and helps you to add more flavour – in the final in Milan on 25th October.

Of course, we think that Christopher should win, so we encourage everyone to “like” his concept on Electrolux’s website, where you can also read more about the intelligent spoon.
