Friday Blues

Se flere billeder af lejligheden her.

The weekend is about to start and it finally seems like we are going to get some real spring?

Springtime usually means that I’m drawn to all things white, but this year my new favourite colours blue and green are still going strong – especially the dark and dusty versions.

Especially blue appeals to me today. Blue paint is a quick and easy renewal, and I’m really attracted to the idea of a painted cupboard against a painted wall in the same colour or shade as in this picture of a beautiful apartment for sale at Fantastic Frank. More pics from the apartment here.

For one of my many white walls this monotype by Lisa Marie Frost would fit perfectly. The monotype is a unique print and the motif is pieces of Tarlatan – gauze-like cotton, which provides a beautiful lightness despite the dark colour. The monotype can be purchased from Wabisabidk for DKK 1.000.

The family company Hansen is behind the beautiful furniture with blue wool in delicious 50ties design in an updated version. Danish produced in Danish beech wood, wool in 7 colours in REACH standard (REACH is the EU’s basic chemicals legislation to ensure that chemicals are used safely with minimum risk to health and environment) and with eco-certificated upholstery. So nice!
