Handmade Porcelain Must Have

In Vienna, which is gorgeous by the way – guide to the city will come soon I promise, I came across feinedinge, a porcelain store. The basic material of all objects of the label feinedinge is the special Limoges porcelain. The shelves in the shop are stacked with vases, lamps and tableware, most of them in white, charcoal or pastel colours. Each item is handmade in the workshop attached to the shop and therefore can slightly differ in form, colour and décor which adds to the individual flair of the label. Despite its fragile appearance, feinedinge’s tableware is dishwasher proof and fit for everyday use.

They do not have a webshop, but is sold across the world through retailers. If you do not find your city on the map, send them an email, and they will help you out.

When I saw this post, I think my heart stopped – it is a true luxury to have every day objects that are works of art. Have you ever seen the ceramics from an Australian company called Mud Australia? Gorgeous colours, and the artisanal pieces can be used in the oven, microwave, dishwasher and of course the table as well.
