I kan se før-billede her.

To decorate personally – what is that?

Last Monday I took a day off and had really nothing to do but some practical things at home. While I vacuuming some of my many books, I thought that books have always been on top of my list of what I think is personally in home decor. However the dust made me consider whether I just have held on to something that has been a big part of me, but may not mean quite the same to me anymore. I love good literature, no doubt about that, but many of these books have not been opened for years! I took a quick decision. I removed all the books and moved only a few significant to me back along with other things that actually mean something to me. Fossils found with my daughter at Møns Klint , memories brought back from travels, my pile of RUM magazines that I ‘ve subscribed to , ever since I started blogging in 2010 and of course a lot of ceramics. See the before here.

Almost a week later I have no doubt – it was the right decision! Now we just have some big piles of books that I must find room for elsewhere or give away.
