INTERIORS

Home Pics: Week 9

Elsker den by!

Well, my camera is on a continuously strike. Luckily, I have been allowed to lend my daughter’s camera – so far – in order to get me back on track with my home pics.

Last week we spent a week in Berlin. Love that city! Although, we have been there several times, it has always plenty to offer, and this time it was a good combination of cultural events and shopping with two teenage girls.

My home pics today are with some of the ”souvenirs” I brought back home. Allan had hinted me that the store Modulor would probably be a place I would like – a huge store with lots of DIY stuff. I could have spent days in there! It’s precisely the sort of place I wish was around the corner, to make me able to just stop by when I have an idea for a project. Here you can get lots of material in A4 size, instead of having to buy a whole meter. A large glass ball, a small wooden cone, some wooden eggs and some beautiful paper was some of the things that came home with me.

Another thing I highly recommend is to visit a well-stocked bookstore. I choose the German photographer Peter Lindbergh’s beautiful book “Images of Women” – a lot cheaper than in Denmark.
