It’s A Man’s World #18

Her tør mændene nemlig godt klæde sig spændende.

Sure we want, or most men that is, to have our hifi, wires and the big machines in the kitchen alone, everything cannot just be about the “wow-see-how-well-the-pillow-just-bring-the-couch-to-life-honey”. Does it really have to be so black and white? Can men not also have vases, plants and pillows on the sofa? Isn’t there a middle way to this? The short answer is, yes! Of course there is. There are lots of cool original examples of masculine décor. I just think that we just have to be a bit more daring!

Currently I am very fascinated by the many streetsnaps from around the world’s fashion weeks. Here all the men are so very well dressed. They dare to dress exciting. We need some of this excitement implemented into our homes too.

First, a little eye-candy, simple but classy interior, where the masculinity is played down a bit, but in no way taken over by pillows. Below, a few still lives caught in Ilva. Vases and especially glass, clear, facet-cut or coloured, combined with raw ceramic vase and a few cool prints, then you are all set. And yes, I still think that you need a bit of leather in your apartment…
