Monochrome Home

When the summer in Denmark is all about bad weather, it’s time for some catching up in the book department. I have spent some time with the book of spring – “Monochrome Home” by Hilary Robertson and the Swedish photographer that we have always been fond of at Bungalow5: Pia Ulin.

The book is a really nice source of inspiration whether you want to life more monochrome or you are a monochrome living person already. It really not all about black and white! It’s about how to make black and white (in every shade) interesting instead of boring by mixing materials, textures and shades to make a relaxed and comfy home.

Hi – thanks for the tip. I just ordered the book. I think our decoration in the old stonehouse in Italy will be monochrome too. Look at my blog, if you like. Hug, Barbara
