Moulin Chair

Artifort has now relaunched chair Moulin, originally designed by the Frenchman Pierre Paulin in 1954. Paulin originally studied to become a ceramist and sculptor. But unfortunately he lost his arm in a fight and then had to find other outlets for his creativity. Paulin is very inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese design, which I fell clearly is expressed in this chair. The chair is minimalistic with a delicate frame of black metal, combined with simple upholstery in gray. Currently the chair is for sale in Belgium and Holland, but I suspect that we in time will see it in Denmark too.
