My Very First Book Signing

Last Friday was a very exciting day, a day I won’t forget soon. I will probably remember it for the rest of my life – my first book signing.

The wonderful people at Skagerak helped me set the mood in beautiful surrounding with great snacks by Mikkel Karstad and two bartenders rocked up with amazing Naked Grouse cocktails, which I had a bit too many of actually. But hey, if not on a day like this, then when right?

Interior designers have increasingly taken inspiration from the design philosophy of Scandinavia, which promotes the creation and use of everyday objects that are beautiful, practical, affordable and accessible. This handbook shows how to create a tailor-made home inspired by Scandinavian design.

Working through the home one room at a time, the book highlights classic items of furniture and signature accessories. In-depth case studies demonstrate the essential elements and provide inspiration. Color combinations are explored to help personalize these iconic styles for the home.

If you want a copy of the book, like my friend Helle below, it is available via Amazon worldwide or in Denmark via Sirin Copenhagen.
