Playing with 7 New Prints for the New Year

While the term “gallery wall” may feel like a buzz word in the design world, the fact of the matter is that this decorating trick for filling empty wall space is not just a trend and won’t be going away any time soon. It’s an age-old way to display artwork and collections and will also work around those odd spaces in your home.

I might change out my furniture more than the average person, but right now, I am actually quite happy with the setup that I have. Throughout the past few months I have really given each piece a thought, asking myself “do I really need it?”. It might also be the fact that I will be moving to LA in 2020, so unconsciously I am already departing with pieces I don’t love.

Anyway, with no more furniture to play around with, I have turned my attention to my walls. I like to change it up on a regular basis with prints that’s not super expensive. It makes the regular changing not as crazy. I find Poster Store perfect; they keep having new prints following trends and season.

Poster Store are giving us all 30% off all their posters the next two weeks (through to Dec 25) only. Just make sure to use the code: bungalow5 before check out.

Here the list of the posters I got:

Field below the clouds | Hot Air Balloons | Periodiske System | Soft Mushrooms | Wood pattern | Muhammad Ali | Roger Moore

I have nails hanging strategically around the house, which makes the moving pictures process, so much easier. Sometimes I change it all up, sometimes just one. It really depends on my mood. This time I added seven new prints. I’ve played around with them around the house, just to show you how they work in different settings.

I don’t really pay attention to all those golden rules for the perfect gallery wall. I choose what I like. Its pretty simple really, choose your art with the heart and it will work. Personality is exactly what makes a home a HOME.

Posted in partnership with Poster Store. Thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for supporting collaborations that I am excited about and that have kept Bungalow5’s doors open.
