What seemed to be yet another day of depressing grey and rain in Copenhagen turned out to be a fantastic day with clear blue skies. This I had to celebrate of course. I teamed up with Rosendahl and made a semi healthy chocolate strawberry cake. I know it is not fair, hence you cannot taste it, but I got the recipe from The Food Club (I added whipped cream) so you can make one yourself.
A cake like this deserves a proper cake stand that doesn’t take the picture. I like this crisp clean white porcelain Grand Cru one by Rosendahl. I know the small glass bowls is not perfect for serving cake, but I love them anyway. They are perfect for ice cream and strawberries though.
All I need now is… um… to eat the cake! Enjoy your day.
