![[AD] Coffee is an essential part of my day. I cant remember when I first started to get a like for the brown gold, but I know I have spent a whole lot of money on takeaway coffees. Like most other Danes I like my first cup to be big. I have been enjoying my @nespresso.dk for years; I tried multiple machines, but always found the sizes of the cups a little bit limiting. So I am super excited about Nespresso’s brand new concept, launching in Denmark today, Vertuo – the first Nespresso system to offer both large-cup coffee options and authentic espresso at the touch of a button.

I am in no way a coffee aficionado, and I am in no way comfortable with terms like American Gibraltars, Chemex pour-over, soy-frothed dry cap; in all honesty I almost wanted to give the guy in front me a soy-frothed dry slap the other day when I heard him in the line to buy my expensive take away in the airport. Don’t get me wrong, I love a nicely brewed well-balanced cup, but I also don’t find it satisfying spending too long brewing a cup. Guess that’s also why I’ve never really taken on slow drip, French press etc. There must be an easier way getting me from “leave me alone, or die” to “good morning, honey!”. And there is, luckily for Mr. LA. That’s where pod coffee comes in.
