On the very top of my bucket list for NYC last week was a visit to the Apartment by the Line. For years I have admired photos from people visiting and just followed along the genius concept store doings loving every bit of it. Finally last week I got to go down Greene St. in Soho New York and ring the bell to go up the elevator to the third floor.
The concept is simple, it’s a concept store with a layout of an actual apartment; living room, kitchen, bedroom and closet – and you can buy everything. As in everything. You’ll find bits and piece from all over the world include favorites from a handful of Danish brands. I would have like to see more of those Danes of course, and maybe I can get my book to be showcased on that great Vitsoe bookshelf. Big time goal.
I could have spent hours just browsing, as the buying team behind the Apartment really is doing a tremendous job of finding great pieces you’ve never seen or knew about, but obviously need in your life.
Bonus tip: Find many of the best items on sale right now with up to 70% to be delivered right to your door.
