Ud af Huset: Between Us // Warszawa

Out of the house: Between Us // Warsaw

I must honestly admit that I did not have high expectations for Warsaw or really more like, I did not really think I expected anything to be honest. I was recommended this little B&B Between Us by the owner of the store, Red Onion.

I stepped, a little sceptical, in the door to the little cafe where I had to get the key to my room, I was greeted by a very friendly woman who simply said “You must be Allan?”. It’s good service – and okay, granted, Between Us only has 3 rooms, so there were like 33% chance of guessing correctly, but she knew I was coming and knew I was from Denmark, so a pretty easy guess. Still, a nice welcoming, which many could learn from!

I was shown up to my room in a small corridor with three doors and a small kitchen, where the message was that I could just drink all the Nespresso I wanted. The room, a large bright room, divided in two by a large glass wall with glass door (by the way, you were able to draw a curtain if you wanted some privacy!), beautifully decorated with a small table, a huge bed, several lamps from Bestlite, a large flat screen and also has a huge bathroom with armchair and best of all, a monster shower cabinet!

The little cafe is also a good place to eat and hang out with locals and really good food if you are not up for the Polish specialties!

Rooms start at € 85 per night, including breakfast!
